Why am I receiving an access restricted message when trying to access the gallery?
If you are receiving an ‘Access Restricted’ screen when trying to access a gallery, it could be that you're browsing in incognito mode, private mode or via an in-app browser (Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Snapchat etc.). If you are unsure if your device is using a private browser, we would recommend checking your browser settings and looking for any reference to “Incognito” or “Private” modes. The reason we provide this message is because incognito and private browsing mode will prevent guests from easily accessing the gallery again after they close the window. This means that your guests would need to rescan the QR code and re-enter their name to access the gallery again. Not a problem, though! All you need to do is select "Copy Link" and paste the URL into a normal, non-app, non-private browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox etc.). Alternatively, you can choose to click "Proceed Anyway" to access the event, but please be aware that some gallery features like uploading may be compromised, and you may even be prompted to enter the gallery Passcode. To avoid any of these issues, we would recommend that you and your guests open the gallery in a normal non-private browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox etc.) for the best viewing experience. |
