How to Share Your GUESTPIX QR Code and Magic Link with Guests

Once you have set up your GUESTPIX event, you can share access with guests in two ways: your QR code or your Magic Link. Both take guests to the same gallery. 

Your Magic Link 

Your Magic Link is a unique web link that takes guests directly into your gallery with no PIN required. Share it digitally via: 

  • Text message or WhatsApp 
  • Email or digital invitation 
  • Your wedding or event website 
  • Facebook events or group chats 

Your Magic Link is found in your host dashboard at my.guestpix.com under your event details. We do recommend guests to open the link within a normal browser (Chrome, Safari etc.).

Your QR Code 

Your QR code is a scannable code that also links directly to your gallery. It is ideal for displaying at your venue on printed signage, table cards, or posters. 

Download your QR code from your host dashboard, then use our free Canva templates to create professional printed displays. 

Always share the correct link 

Your GUESTPIX dashboard gives you two different links: 

  • Magic Link — this is the link to share with guests. No PIN required. 
  • PIN-protected link — this is a backup link that requires a passcode. Do not share this one with guests unless you also share the PIN. 

If guests are being asked for a PIN when they try to access your gallery, it is usually because the wrong link was shared. Always copy your Magic Link directly from your host dashboard, not from your browser URL bar.
