How Do I Upgrade My Free Event?

You can upgrade your free GUESTPIX event to a paid package at any time from your host dashboard. The upgrade is instant - all limits are removed and new features unlock the moment payment is complete. 

 

How to upgrade — step by step 

  1. Log in to your host dashboard at my.guestpix.com 
  2. Look for the 'Upgrade Now' button - it appears in the banner at the top of your dashboard and in the main menu 
  3. Tap or click 'Upgrade' 
  4. You will be taken to the upgrade page showing the available packages for your event type 
  5. Choose the package that suits your needs and tap the upgrade button 
  6. Complete payment at checkout 
  7. You will be returned to your dashboard - your event is now upgraded 

 

What changes immediately after upgrading 

  • The photo limit is removed - guests can upload unlimited photos 
  • Video uploads are unlocked (all packages) 
  • Any features included in your chosen package become available immediately - for example albums, custom design themes, or white label branding 
  • A confirmation email and receipt are sent to your email address 
  • Your upload window and hosting period update to match your new package 

 

What packages can I upgrade to? 

The packages available depend on the event type you selected when you created your gallery. 

 

Weddings: 

  • Classic — unlimited photos and videos, 3-month upload window, default theme 
  • Signature — unlimited photos and videos, 12-month upload window, custom design themes (most popular) 
  • Signature Bundle — 3 separate galleries, 24-month upload window, custom design themes 

 

Parties, engagements and general events: 

  • Small — unlimited photos only, 3-month upload window, default theme 
  • Medium — unlimited photos and videos, 3-month upload window, default theme 
  • Large — unlimited photos and videos, albums, custom design, 12-month upload window 

 

Memorials: 

  • Medium — unlimited photos and videos, 3-month upload window 
  • Large — unlimited photos and videos, albums, 20 design themes, 12-month upload window 
  • X-Large — unlimited photos and videos, 6 albums, customizable branding, 12-month upload window 

 

Business events: 

  • Bronze — 1 gallery, unlimited photos and videos, 3-month upload window 
  • Silver — 1 gallery with albums, white label branding, attendee marketing opt-in, 12-month upload window 
  • Platinum — 3 galleries with albums, white label branding, 12-month upload window 

 

Can I upgrade after my event has expired? 

Yes — you can upgrade at any time up until 90 days after your event date. Upgrading a gallery that is in 'Expired' status will restore it immediately and give you access to all your photos again. 

 

After 90 days, photos are permanently deleted and upgrading is no longer possible. 

 

Can I upgrade if I have already hit the photo limit? 

Yes. Upgrading removes the photo limit immediately. Guests will be able to upload again as soon as payment is complete — no manual steps needed on your end.
