How do I copy my QR code into my Canva template?
Login to your GUESTPIX host dashboard and download your GUESTPIX QR code. Here’s the login link:
- Open your Canva design and find the "Upload" menu item from the main menu. It's a cloud icon with an arrow. This is where you can upload your GUESTPIX QR code. If using a desktop, typically this is found on the left side in a black navigation area (or on mobile it's found at the bottom in a purple circle with the + sign and scroll across).
- Once it's uploaded into Canva, you can drag it into the empty frame in the template, or wherever you'd like to place it. If you're using the frame in our templates, drag it and hover over the frame. In the background you should see it automatically resize. If you can't get it to automatically resize, just ensure it's around the size of the frame we've placed, and you can resize it by selecting the little circles in the corners of the QR code.
- Once you're happy with how it all looks and have tested it with a mobile, there are 2 options for printing:
Option 1: Print locally using a Commercial Printer
Save as a PRINT PDF and send to your local commercial printer. To do this go to "Share" (top right), Download, Change PNG to PDF PRINT, you can select crop marks/bleed, select only the page(s) you want to print, then hit download. The file will be downloaded to your device and that's a great time to do a final proof and scan of your QR code. If you need to make any changes, simply go back, edit, and follow the above steps.
Option 2: Print via Canva’s Print & Deliver Service
Next to the "Share" button you should see a "print postcard/invitation..." button on our designed templates. Once you select that, it will guide you through. Please ensure you have enough time to receive these based on Canva’s estimated time frames.
