Some Guests are Having Difficulty Uploading. What Should I Do?
There are a few reasons a guest may experience an upload issue. The most common ones are below:
- They need a good quality internet connection due to the large nature of photo and video files.
- Uploads of a single size file (or a batch upload) cannot exceed 4GB. If so, try uploading in smaller batches.
- Ensure they are not using Facebook/Instagram or incognito browsers. We recommend using a normal browser like Chrome, Edge, Safari etc.
- As GUESTPIX is a web-based platform, it only works if you have a good internet connection whether that is via WIFI or mobile data. If your venue has weak internet/WIFI, no stress as our packages come with either a 3-month/12-month upload window so they have plenty of time afterwards to keep uploading content.
- If you’re uploading multiple files at once, your device may need a few extra moments to sync the images or videos from cloud storage (such as iCloud or Google Photos) before they are fully ready. Please allow your photos to sync first then you can select the blue tick to upload them to the gallery.
