Some of my guests are having difficulty uploading. What should I do?

There are a few reasons a guest may experience an upload issue. The most common ones are below:

  1. They need a good quality internet connection due to the large nature of photo and video files.
  2. Uploads of a single size file (or a batch upload) cannot exceed 4GB. If so, try uploading in smaller batches.
  3. Ensure they are not using Facebook/Instagram or incognito browsers. We recommend using a normal browser like Chrome, Edge, Safari etc.
  4. On some iPhones with iCloud hosting, the 'Add' button is slow to respond after selecting large photos/videos. This lag is unfortunately an Apple device issue on some devices as the iPhone downloads the files from iCloud without notifying the user, prior to beginning the upload process to us. If they tap 'Add' once, and wait, their device will load in time. We have helped hosts collect millions of photos from Apple devices, but we do see this issue from time to time and we are sorry for the frustration.
