How to Set Up Your GUESTPIX Event Photo Gallery: Step by Step
Setting up your GUESTPIX event photo gallery takes just a few minutes and you only need to do it once. From the moment you purchase, you will have a private online gallery with a custom QR code that guests scan on the day with no app download or registration needed. This article walks you through every step from your welcome email to having your gallery ready to share.
Step 1: Check your inbox After purchasing, you will receive a welcome email from GUESTPIX with a link to your host dashboard. If you do not see it within a few minutes, check your junk or spam folder.
Step 2: Log in to your host dashboard Head to my.guestpix.com and log in using the email address you purchased with. This is your control center for your entire gallery.
Step 3: Enter your event details Add your event name, date, and location. You can also upload a welcome photo or short video that guests see when they first open the gallery. This is the first thing guests see when they scan your QR code so it is worth taking a moment to personalize it.
Step 4 : Set Up your Digital Invitation ( Optional)
Welcome image tips by event type:
- Weddings - An engagement photo or save-the-date image works beautifully here
- Parties and birthdays - A fun photo of the guest of honor or a welcome video sets a great tone
- Vacations - A destination photo or itinerary image gets the group excited before the trip
Step 4: Choose your gallery design theme or white label If you are on the Signature or Luxe package, choose from 20 gallery design themes to match your event aesthetic. Classic package galleries use the default theme. See Design Themes for the full range.

Step 6: Download your QR code Your unique QR code is automatically generated and ready in your host dashboard. Download it as a high-resolution PNG and you are ready to print or share.
What to expect before your event Your gallery opens two weeks before your event date so you can test it, share with a trusted person, and make sure everything looks right before guests arrive.
